Multimedia Production

In the summer of 2022, I worked with GNTV Media ministry. They are a non-profit event production company. For over 40 years, the company focuses on serving faith-based, educational, governmental, and civic organizations. GNTV provides support in event planning and specializes in live production of audio, video, graphics, and lighting.

Over the summer of 2022, I worked with GNTV as a Live Media Production Intern during a period of time known as the 'summer run'. During this time, the United Methodist Church holds its annual conferences in several locations around the country. GNTV provides the live media equipment and personnel for these events.  I had the opportunity to travel to several new places and gained valuable, first-hand experience within a field previously foreign to me.

Skills and Experience

Video Production

  • Setup and operation of Sony NX5U, Sony Blackmagic, and PTZ Optics camera systems.

  • Technical directing and video switching

  • Setting up projector screens and LED Wall display

Audio Production

  • Operating Stage box and soundboard equipment to mix audio output and adjust levels

  • Setting up PA systems, speakers, and monitors

  • Setting up and testing microhone levels

Graphics Production

  • Creating slides that include text, image, video, and other media elements for visual aid at events

  • Working alongside technical director to run slides live
